One night was all it took for her to bowl him over.

 

Businesswoman Vera Thomas is tired of misogynists and relationships. Her family, friends and job are a priority, leaving everything else at the bottom of her list. Including finding her forever person.

 

Cricket star Elias Joseph is not having the best year. After an epic loss last season and missing out on the World Cup because of an injury, he’s losing hope of ever getting back on the pitch. And he definitely doesn’t have time to do anything fun either. 

 

When an encounter at a bar ends with Vera and Elias in bed together, it’s not meant to be anything more than one night. Except, feelings start to develop,  emotions are running high and ignoring what they want from each other becomes difficult. 

 

Especially when they realise they make more sense together rather than apart.

 

But when external forces get in the way of their happily ever after, they have to make a choice between love and career.
